Ellen L. Croce

Ellen was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Roselle Park for 47 years. Ellen was retired from Bell Atlantic (now known as Verizon) where she was employed for over 40 years. She then volunteered her time as an Assistant librarian at the Aldene School before working as a part-time Para’s Assistant with children at the John Adase School, both in Roselle Park. Ellen enjoyed swimming, movies, knitting and having Pizza and ice cream with her grandkids. Of all things, it was her grandchildren she loved to pass her time with the most—she adored them. Ellen was a self-sacrificing and giving person who even in death continued to give by being an organ and tissue donor.

Loving mother of Frank B. Croce and Salvatore Croce Jr. Adoring grandmother of Jeffrey Croce, Calogero J. Croce and "Gio", Giovanni F. Croce. She was the Dear sister of Josephine Martino.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 8th from 4-8 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union. A funeral mass will take place at Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park on Saturday, January 9th at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
