He was born in New York Cityand was a lifelong resident ofWeehawken where he workedfor the Department of PublicWorks for many years before re-tiring. Robert was the devotedhusband of Maureen (nee: MacNamee) and the beloved father ofRobert and wife Cherie, KarenRovito and husband Joseph andKevin and wife Kerri. He was thedear brother of; John, AdeleFaulkner, Thomas, Doris Mulva-ney, Stephen, Joseph, Ann MarieHiggins, Helen Glackin, PatriciaReeves, Michael, Kathleen andCarol as well as 3 deceased broth-ers and sisters. He was also theloving grandfather of; Joseph,Michael and Robert Rovito andJulian McLaughlin. The funeral will be on Friday,October 26, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. fromthe Leber Funeral Home then toSt. Lawrence Church where at10:30 a.m. a mass will be offered.The interment will follow at Hill-side Cemetery.
