Mauro Favuzzi, age 95, of Union City, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Mauro was born August 7, 1927 in Molfetta, Italy. Mauro lived most of life in Union City where he worked as a Longshoreman for many years before retiring.
He was the beloved husband of the late Vincenza Favuzzi and the devoted father of Dorotea Favuzzi and the late Frank and Anthony Favuzzi. He was also survived by his siblings; Rita Tammacco, Antoinetta Marceca and Anna ( Nina) Favuzzi.
A visitation for Mauro will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087. the funeral will be on Thursday September 22, 2022 at 10:30AM at Sts, Joseph and Michael Church in Union City. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
In lieu of Flowers donation in Mauro's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
