Clifford Doerfer

Vincent Clifford Doerfer, 92 of Union City, N.J. passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 26, 2023. Vincent, who was affectionately known as Clifford, was born in Union City , N.J. where he lived his entire life until he recently moved to North Bergen. Vincent retired as a sales associate for the Lord and Taylor's Flagship store in New York City and enjoyed spending his time with his dearly departed wife, Helen. He also enjoyed making crossword puzzles and photography.

Vincent was predeceased by his wife Helen nee Modrys, father, Philip Doerfer, mother Maria Bertrand and his sister Frances Cipoletta.

Vincent never had children and is survived by his nieces Donna Cipoletta Kerr and her children Micheal O'Connor and Craig O'Connor and Linda Calabrese and her daughter Michelle Calabrese as well as his Nephew Peter John Cipoletta and his wife Shirley Cipoletta and their children Ariel Cipoletta, Jonathan Cipoletta, Erica Cipoletta and Ariana Cipoletta. Vincent is also survived by his niece and nephew through marriage, Kenneth and Patricia Harrigan along with many other great nieces and nephews.

Clifford's Life Celebration will include a brief visiting on Tuesday, December, 5, from 9-10:30am at the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered immediately after, beginning at 11:00am at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 615 8th Street, Union City, NJ. Friends and family may begin gathering at 9:00am Tuesday morning before services. Clifford will be laid to rest at Weehawken Cemetery, 4000 Bergen Turnpike, North Bergen, NJ.
