William Travis Fletcher of Whitehouse passed away on Tuesday, December 28th 2021, in Tyler, Texas. Travis—to his family— was born March 9th, 1985, in Orlando, Florida to William and Mary Fletcher. He was a 2003 graduate of Whitehouse High School, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler. After graduation, Travis followed his passion as an educator and adjunct professor for both Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He was a hard worker, loving son, amazing friend and uncle who cherished his family. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching, fishing and spending time with those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father William W. Fletcher. Travis is survived by his loving mother, Mary K. Fletcher of Whitehouse; sisters Charlotte Fletcher of Tyler and Jessica Rose of Whitehouse; brothers Cory Fletcher and wife Pam of Longview; Aaron Rose and wife Contessa of Augusta, Georgia; nieces and nephew, McKenna Rose of Whitehouse, Aviana Rose of Augusta and Logan Rose of Tyler.
A a time of visitation for William will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler, Texas. Following the time of visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM. at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
