Susan Brownlee

Susan Hart Brownlee, 69, of Plano, passed away on July 13, 2022, in Kilgore, Texas. Susan was born on March 13th,1953, in Fort Worth, Texas to James Paul Hart and Uldeane C. Hart. Susan was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.

Susan graduated high school in Ft. Worth and attended SFA University in Nacogdoches. Over the years her career included working at the Henderson Newspaper, Dillard's as a makeup artist, selling ads at the Longview News Journal, and selling cars at Gorman McCracken Mazda in Longview TX. However, it wasn’t until she was selling ads at the Yellow Pages where she met her husband, Danny. From there the two started Brownlee Roofing and Gutters where they traveled the country with their dog, Rambo. They eventually settled in Plano, TX running their company. Susan always had a contagious smile and loved her family more than anything.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years, Danny Brownlee; sons, Matt Hubert of Plano, Zack Hubert and wife, Crystal of Bullard; bonus sons, Stephen Brownlee of Tyler and Michael Brownlee of New Jersey; bonus daughter, Danaca Mieth of Lindale; grandchildren, Austin Brownlee, Tanner Taylor, Jacob Brownlee, Kendall Brownlee, Jace Mieth, Madison Brownlee, Mackenzie Hubert and Jacob Hubert; sister-in-law, Gail Hart; niece, Janice Richbourg, husband, Daniel and daughter, Isabel; and countless other family and friends who loved her.

She was preceded in death by parents, Uldeane and James Paul Hart and brothers, Bob Hart and David Hart.

The family will receive friends at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 6:00 pm to 8:00pm for a celebration of her life. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
