The Austin Family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Milburn Raymond (Pinky, Ramone) Austin, 72 years old, on March 29, 2020, in Tyler, Texas. He was born June 15, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ralph Jewel Austin, and Bertha Louise Jordan Austin. Milburn attended Indianapolis Public Schools, his favorite pastime activities were meeting new people helping others, and art. Milburn was previously employed as a Truck Driver and Custodian. He volunteered at Good News Ministry and Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Preceding him in death are his father, Ralph Jewel Austin, mother, Bertha Louise Jordan Austin, wife Karol Ann (Washington) Austin, son Raymond M. Austin, Jr, and sister Carmen M. Clanton. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by sons Kieno R. Austin, Terrance Johnson, daughters Kemba Swanigan, LeAnn Lexington, Alexis Brown, and sisters Sandra Walton (Dempsey), Antoinette Austin-Glass (John), and Mira Tolliver-Stinnett (Dennis), uncle Mack Reynolds, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
His interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana. A celebration of Milburn’s life will be held Friday, September 25, 2020, at 11 a.m. meet at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetary, 700 W. 38th Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, Main office 10:45 a.m. for the procession to interment. Services were entrusted to Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler, Texas, and Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetary, Indianapolis, Indiana.
