Judy Kay Pike, age 68, left to be in the arms of the Father peacefully August 9, 2023. She was born on April 1, 1955 in Tyler, Texas to Annabelle and Obie Miller. She married the love of her life, Mark Anthony Pike, on December 20,1972. They had four children; Angela, Toni, David and Joshua.
Judy was dedicated follower of Christ, cherished wife and loving mother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Mema. She had a personality that always made people around her laugh. She loved to love on others. She and Mark opened their home to many people and would do anything for anyone. Always making people feel welcome and feel like family.
For six years Judy served as a military spouse with great honor to her husband and to her country. She worked for many years as the office manager at Thompson Hills Nursery. She enjoyed being a cook and serving others in her community. With everything she did, she did it with a humble heart!
Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Judy is survived by her husband Mark Pike, sister Linda Rogers and husband Rodney Rogers and sister Jean Knight; her four children and their spouses Angela and Todd Gibson, Toni and Johnny Lovett, David and Codi Pike, and Joshua Pike and his fiance Bekah Fairbanks; grandchildren, Felicia Gibson, Hailey Warner, Hannah Vazquez, Lily Pike, Carter Pike, Heidi Warner, Jaxson Fairbanks and Bay Pike; plus six great grandchildren, Lia, Emily, Benjamin, Olivia, Amelia and Aribella, her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
