Jo Ann Braly Allred age 85 of Tyler, Texas passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on March 20, 2023, at hospice home place of Tyler. Jo was born in Tyler, Texas on September 22, 1938, to Ola Cecil Braly and Dorothy Dale Tucker of Tyler. Jo attended Arp High School where she graduated in 1956 and attended business college in Tyler and worked several secretarial jobs. Jo began her adventure in life and never looked back after graduation and touched the lives of many people she encountered. After her son’s birth, William Keith McElroy, Jo met her loving husband Louie Neal Allred whom she spent an amazing 55 years of marriage with. Jo and Louie have encountered many things in their years of marriage but one of their favorites was business. They have been involved in numerous business ventures from Restaurants, Real Estate, Oil and Gas as well as a Tank Company, Plastic Injection Company and many other including business in foreign countries. Jo enjoyed her traveling as she went all over the world with her husband, friends, and son. Jo and Louie have been part of many large business dealings and have dealt with many interesting people. In 1980 they had the pleasure of becoming great friends with the president of Panama Jorge Enrique Illueca Sibauste whom also served as Panama’s Ambassador to the U.N and secretary of the U.N General Assembly. Jo had many business ventures of her own here in Tyler, Longview, and Whitehouse like her children’s clothing store Wiggles and Giggles, a Jewelry Store, and Florist Shop. As Jo’s life progressed, she was faced with many health issues one which gave her only 5 months to live. With her faith in the lord and determination she outlived two of the doctors that told her that. Jo’s faith was one of the many great things about her and there is no doubt she is dancing in heaven. She loved her lord and savior and enjoyed getting to share him with everyone she met. During her free time, she enjoyed being catered to by her husband Louie, and spoiling her great grandkids Kolton, Gracelynn, Katie, and Lyndzie with burnt cheese sandwiches. Jo spent her last days on earth surrounded by friends and family who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her Father Ola Cecil Braly Mother Dorothy Dale Tucker, and two brothers Jimmy Cecil Braly and Billy Jack Braly. She is Survived by her loving husband Louie Neal Allred, son William Keith McElroy Grandson Trey Carnley wife Jennifer Carnley. Great grandchildren Kolton, Gracelynn, Lyndzie, Katie Carnley and many, many loving friends. Service will be held Thursday March 23, 2023 at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, TX. with visitation starting at 1:00 and Funeral starting at 2:00. Flowers can be sent to Lloyd James Funeral Home
