George Richard "Rick" Grainger Jr.

George Richard “Rick” Grainger, Jr., 60 of Houston, formerly of Tyler, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in Houston. He was born August 28, 1962 in Tyler to George Richard Grainger, Sr. and Corinne Crawford Grainger. He was preceded in death by mother, Corinne Crawford Grainger, his sister, Cynthia Louise Grainger and his partner, Dewaine Muzny.

Rick was a financial advisor and stock trader in the banking industry and he loved spending time with his grandchildren and also had a passion for traveling the world and scuba diving.

Survivors include his father George Richard Grainger Sr. and partner, Tommy Fontenot of Dallas; son, Richard Blake Grainger and wife, Nelma of Bedford; two grandchildren, Richard Blake Grainger, Jr. and Russell Blaine Grainger; one brother, Gregory Crawford Grainger and wife Natalie of Carrollton; one niece, Jordan Grainger and one nephew, Reese Grainger. He is also survived by his best friend Eddie Orum, III.

A service of celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Lloyd

James Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas.
