Memorial services for Edith Crawley “Nana” Bradshaw, 88, of Tyler are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at First Christian Church with Dr. Chris Pulliam officiating. Private burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bradshaw passed away on Saturday April 9, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born on February 15, 1923 in Van Zandt County to the late Earl Ray and Elizabeth Rhines Crawley. She had lived in Tyler since 1959. She was a member of First Christian Church, Tyler Garden Club, East Texas Petroleum Auxiliary and Willow Brook Country Club. She was a supporter of the Tyler Civic Theater, an avid traveler, a Mah Jongg player and a hostess extraordinaire.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray E. Bradshaw; sister, LaRue Sallis and brother, Floyd S. Crawley.
She is survived by her daughters, Jan Copas and husband Stephen of Tyler, Lana Parks and husband Clyde of Dallas, Pam Sartain and husband Buster of Tyler and Holly East and husband Charles of Decatur; sister, Dorothy Layton of Houston; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Herren, Dusty Herren, Jeff Ferris, Eric Parks, Les Crawley, Robert Jolly, Kirk Baird, Ray Manning, Billy Manning, Rick Sallis, Cliff Sallis and Cooper Forbes.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
