Services for Dreta Beavers Pridgen of Tyler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m, Thursday 2012, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, with Reverend Bob Greene officiating.
Burial will follow at Tyler Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pridgen passed away June 17, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Oda Harrison Beavers.
Born December 28, 1931, in Latexo, Texas, Mrs. Pridgen was a homemaker, dedicated member of the Lanes Chapel United Methodist Church, and loved to work in her yard and garden.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Dennis Pridgen; sons, Keith Pridgen and wife, Sandra, of Flint, and Lynn Pridgen and Vickie Carlson, of Bois d’Arc, Texas; grandchildren, Scott and Daisy Pridgen, of Tyler, Michael and Misty Pridgen, of Tyler, Mark Pridgen, of Tyler, and Brian and Jennifer Pridgen, of Allen; five great-grandchildren, Ruby, Lily, Jathan, Lily Fayth, and Mason; sister Irene Musgrove of Crockett; numerous nieces and nephews; and, special friend Debbie Perkins Clark.
Pallbearers are Scott Pridgen, Michael Pridgen, Mark Pridgen, Brian Pridgen, Jimmy Hailey, and John Musgrove. Honorary pallbearer: Jeff Hailey.
