CD Hill

CD was raised in Alba, TX and graduated from Alba Golden High School in 1958. CD served in the Army as a PFC for three years. He married Norma Marie Knutson in 1963 and the couple had one son.

He was an assembly line worker at Trane Industries where he worked for more than 30 years.

In his spare time CD enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling with family and friends. He found great joy and peace working in the yard alongside his wife, Norma.

CD will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion and loving patience. His wife Norma, always referred to CD as her "Rock".

CD is preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Novie Hill, brothers, Cecil Hill and Jimmy Hill, sisters, Mavis Dotson, Pearl McLemore, Geraldine Jones, Linda Hill and Nevalene Clark.

He is survived by his loving wife Norma Marie Hill, son, Michael and wife Julie Hill, grandson, Bryce and wife Alondra Hill, granddaughter Brooklyn Hill Smith and husband Caleb, and great-granddaughter, Sawyer Marie Smith.

A celebration of CD's life will take place at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home April 11, 2025 at 11:00 am.

Following the Celebration of Life Service there will be a graveside at 12:00 pm at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
