Mr. Widener was born April 26, 1935, in Tennessee, to the late Thomas H. and Ruby R. Widener. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served his country during the Korean Conflict. His greatest love was his family, a devoted husband, wonderful father he was most especially proud of his role as a “Pap Paw” to his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching westerns and he was very fond of his appropriately named cat, “Miss Kitty.”
