A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at 3:30 pm from the Graham Cemetery in Reform, AL, with Rev. Bruce Boswell officiating. Memory Chapel, a Dignity provider, is honored to be entrusted with final arrangements.
Ms. Hamm was born July 28, 1933, in Reform, AL, to the late Harvey and Estelle Lancaster. She graduated from Pickens County High School and worked for over 30 years for Gulf State Paper. After her retirement, she worked at Parisians Department Store in University Mall, Tuscaloosa, for several years.
A Baptist by faith, she was a longtime member, and Sunday School Teacher, at Northwood Hills Baptist Church in Northport, AL. Her green thumb was evident and shown brightly through her care and attention to her plants and flowers. She was a wonderful cook, with Peanut Brittle and Crab Apple Jelly, being among her specialties. A loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother she loved her family and will be missed in their day-to-day lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband Marion Hamm; and two sisters: Jamie Adams and Sara Johnson.
She is survived by her children: Beth and Terry Sanford, Jim and Theresa Evans, Kemmie and Connie Evans all of Northport, AL, Dawn and Ronald Stacy of Moundville, AL, Karen Hamm, Burt Hamm, Kendall, and Dennis Adams all of Greensboro, AL, Daphne and Mike Steider of Fort Wayne, IN; 12 Grandchildren; and 32 Great Grandchildren.
Serving as Active Pallbearers will be Jeff Patton, Bruce Boswell, Chad Grimes, Josh Rushing, Chad Kelly, Sam Patton, Knox Grimes, and Blake Evans.
