Ken- servant of God, Sang to the glory of God with great passion. Historian, author of "Spanning the Black Warrior River", as well as "Harnessing the Black Warrior River (7 bridges between Tuscaloosa and Northport). He released two CD's of gospel music "Greatest of All Miracles" and "Rather Rejoice". His passion for woodwork led him to build a cabin on a bluff of the Black Warrior River soley! He relocated the single span of the 1882 Black Warrior River Bridge that he had restored and placed in a park in Northport, Alabama. He loved wood working. Always working on a project with passion. He loved gardening as this reflected what God could do. He loved the Bible story of Joseph "The beloved son" who had the favor of his Father. The below scripture describes how Ken felt of God: Isaiah 61 (1-3). The spirit of the Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lords favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
Pallbearers are Jeff Hallman, Robert Stone, Jim Mullenix, Randy Farris, David Wood, Benjamin Fikes, and Gregory Taylor.
