Jessie B. Kelley, age 87, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died December 7, 2018, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bryson Kelley; son, Norman Larry Kelley; father, John Wesley Tatum; mother, Jincy Pace Tatum; three brothers; and one twin sister, Bessie Kelly.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Kelley Authier (Anthony P.) and Janine Kelley Watkins (David); sons, Ronald W. Kelley (Pam), Keith Kelley and Kenneth Kelley; sisters, Erline Clark and Thelma Costello; and five grandchildren.
Jessie was a loving mother and avid gardener. She also loved to read the Bible and other books of inspiration and crochet. She will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be Eric Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Sam Watkins, Gerald Kelley, Chris Watkins and Shane White.
