Jerry Lee Fomby, age 86 of Coaling, Alabama passed away on October 7, 2024 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fomby; grandson, T.J. Fomby; brother, Chester Fomby; father, L.J. Fomby; mother, Lois Fomby.
He is survived by his sons, Tony Lee Fomby (Aprile), Jeffery Scott Fomby (Jessica); sister, Janice Pinkard;grandchildren, Anthony Fomby (Esther), Kayla Fomby, Brady Fomby, Abbey Parker, Carson Parker; great grandchildren, Emilee Fomby, Carlee Fomby, Levie Fomby, Wyatt Fomby, Braxton Fomby, Maverick Fomby, Samson Fomby.
Jerry was an avid Alabama fan and lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed his church family and spending time with his loved ones. Jerry is going to be missed by his family.
Pallbearers will be Brady Fomby, Chet Fomby, Chance Bates, Walt Dean, Glenn Hicks, Phillip Morris.
Honorary pallbearers are the retired Drummond Coal Co. Employees.
