Jack Hershel Norris

TUSCALOOSA - Jack Hershel Norris, age 88, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died on October 31, 2017 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, at Elmwood Cemetery with Tim Meherg officiating. Burial will follow with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ruby Norris; first wife, Tommie Norris; sister, Lavonia Beckett; and brother, Billy Norris.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Norris; sons, Jack Rodney Norris (Susan) and Roger Chadwick Norris (Donna); step-daughter, Peggy Beasley (Jon); grandchildren, Anna Hinson, Laura Hinson, Leslie Norris, Katie Norris, Jonnie Barrett, Tyson Cannon and Ronnie Beasley.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Davis, Charlie Shoop, Danny McCroskey, Terry White, Darrel Lindsey, and Marvin Barron.

Honorary pallbearers are Woodrowe Huguley, Ronnie Huguley, Jim Smith, Ken Olivet, Tyler Williams, Ronnie Beasley, the staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home and the employees of Tractor & Equipment.
