Graveside services will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, at 1:15 p.m., at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL, with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, A Dignity Memorial Provider directing. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Nettie B. Garner, Grandparents, Wallace & Callie Garner and Jariot Ruth & Betty Robinson, and Nephew, Walter J. Moss Jr.
Survivors include his daughters, Shelly Renea Garner (Atlanta, GA), Amber Nicole Williams (Richmond, VA), and Ayanna Niara Barnes (Aliceville, AL), sisters, Ida B. Goff (Tuscaloosa, AL), Callie Mae Moss (Panola, AL), Brendia Rena Hill (Aliceville, AL) and Glendia Faye Garner (Tuscaloosa, AL), brothers, John D. Garner (Tuscaloosa, AL), Charlie Garner, Jr. (Aliceville, AL), Otis Ray Garner (Aliceville, AL), Lester Stevenson Garner (Aliceville, AL) and Frankie Orlando Garner (Aliceville, AL) and granddaughter, Hayden Noelle Barnes.
Eurie B. Garner was born on February 7, 1956, in Macon, MS, to Charlie & Nettie B. Garner. He graduated from Aliceville High School in 1974. He joined the Army in 1975, served 20 years, and was honorably discharged in 1995. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science from UA in 2005. He later retired from the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center. Eurie cared for his family beyond measure and cherished his three daughters and granddaughter. He was always one phone call away. Eurie will be severely missed.
