Debbie Johnson

Debbie, age 64, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on June 6, 2023 at Druid City Hospital. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time she passed. Debbie was born on January 14, 1959 to Cecil and Thelma Lancaster in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Debbie graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1977. In 1975 she met Ralph, and they wed in 1979, going on to have 4 sons, Brad, Chad, Brian and Chris. Debbie had many roles but ultimately decided to dedicate her life to being a wonderful and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother. She was THE PTA parent, a mother to all kids. Debbie made it her daily mission to brighten the lives of her family and friends. She was a maker. A home, family, meal, craft, maker- you name it, she could make it. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Thelma Lancaster. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; sisters, Joann and Janet; children, Brad (Jessica), Chad, Brian (Katie), Chris, as well as her grandchildren, Allison, Logan, Tucker, Emma, and Addyson. Honorary pallbearers are Dustin McDow, Dylan Stapp, Jonathan Leopard, Colby Nixon, Earl Norwood, Dr. Scott Fulgham and Tony Logan. There will be a Celebration of Life at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM.
