Appy Jo Hubbard

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13th from 12:30 to 1:00pm at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Duncanville Community Cemetery following visitation at 2:00pm with Mike Bell officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Eustis and Melvina; and her husband Nelson.

Survivors include the daughter she never had, Donna; best friend Molly Rogers; Cousin Teresa Bell,

Step children; Junior (Shirley), Jan (Don), Jeff, Richard (Ellien), Marty (Carlie) and Robert.

Appy grew up in Brookwood Alabama and graduated from Brookwood Highschool. She worked as a bookkeeper for Snipes Termite & Co. and Battle Auto parts. She also held various teller positions at different banks in the Tuscaloosa area. Appy was a volunteer for the Mt. Olive Fire Department in Coker, and enjoyed donating to multiple charities. Her hobbies included cooking, traveling, and shopping. She loved to watch old Western shows; Clint Eastwood and John Wayne were her favorites. Appy loved to go camping with her husband Nelson.
