Timothy Angelo Mifsud peacefully went to be with his Lord on Jan 27, 2023, after a very long, hard battle with illness. Tim was born on December 8, 1967, in Daly City, CA. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Tracy. Loving Father of Allyson Mifsud of Lathrop, and Angelo Mifsud of Tracy. “Timmy” will be deeply missed by his mother, Donna Mifsud of Manteca, and his 5 sisters, Denise Rebeiro, (Robert), Celeste Koster, (Bill), Veronica Sillivan, (Guy), Marie Mifsud, and Nichole Mifsud all of Tracy. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Tim will be greeted in heaven by his father, Ed Mifsud, his nieces Arianna Koster, Rebecca Ludwig, and his nephew Alexander Ludwig.
Tim grew up in Tracy, in a very loving home where his parents taught their six children the precious gifts of faith, family, and good food. They also instilled in all of their children the power of prayer, devotion to the Lord, and to one another. Tim and his five sisters shared an incredibly special bond that lasted his entire lifetime. They doted over him from the day he was born, all the way to the end of his life.
Tim absolutely loved the country life. As a little boy, he was his Dad’s shadow, learning every step of the way to become a Man’s Man, with the first lesson being how to work hard, especially for those he loved. His favorite thing in the world was to go with his father in the truck hauling hay. Tim was extremely influenced by the hard work ethic required by the occupation. From that time on trucking was in his blood and continued to remain a big part of his life. During that time hay was mostly bucked by hand with the labor of your back, and two hay hooks, which formed a very muscular young man. Tim was very proud to emulate the strong man his father was in so many ways.
Soon after graduating from Tracy High School, Tim met Tracy, the love of his life. They married and had a beautiful family of their own. This was Tim’s most precious commodity in life. He took great pride in being a devoted husband and father where he taught his own children many of the lessons he had witnessed in his childhood. Tim was extremely outgoing and could strike up conversation with anyone. He was very social and his charismatic personality allowed him to enjoy many facets of life, such as being a friend to many. He was a big advocate of volunteering at St. Bernards Catholic Church, where he was a lifetime parishioner, and loved the brotherhood and membership of the Young Men’s Institute. Tim also was a member of the Kiwanis Club, where he genuinely enjoyed more socializing and volunteering for the youth of Tracy. Another of his true joy’s was the outdoors. He was always incredibly happy to pull his Fifth-Wheel somewhere for the weekend while camping with his wife and kids; where he was thrilled to show off his barbeque skills. Tim also always looked forward to his annual deer hunting trip to Tennessee with good friends and family.
Once he became ill Tim showed his fierce determination to be the strong man he had always been; and fought as long and hard as he could for his family, and all who loved him. Tracy stood by Tim’s side enduring his very long battle, staying completely dedicated to him as he relied heavily on his faith and the Lord to guide him home.
Tim will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. All are invited to attend the Rosary, recited on February 7, at 7:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on February 8, at 11:00 a.m., St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 West Eaton Avenue, Tracy CA.
Interment immediately following at Valpico Memorial Park, 12815 West Valpico Road, Tracy, CA.
