Spencer Dalton Beckstead

Spencer Dalton Beckstead, age 44, of Atwater, California, passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, California, on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Spencer was born in Solvang, California, to Ilene and Larry Beckstead.

Spencer is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Christina Beckstead of Atwater, California; his parents Larry and Ilene Beckstead of Atwater, California; his mother-in-law Maria Fatima Vieira of Atwater, California; his brother Anthony John Beckstead (Karen) of Shelley, Idaho; his sister Shannon Dugdale (Kevin) of Lewiston, Idaho and his brother-in-law Jason Vieira of Atwater, California. Spencer also leaves behind his nieces Shelby (Matt), Jenna (Isaiah), Leah, his nephews Jay, Matthew, Jonathan, his great nephew Anthony Danger and his three loving dogs Pepper, Tootsie and Rebel, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to honor his memory.

Spencer was preceded in death by his brother Edward Larry Beckstead, his father-in-law Manuel B. Vieira, his paternal grandparents Edward Junior and Vesta Beckstead, and his maternal grandparents Milton and Ethel Lancaster.

A Recitation of the Rosary for Spencer will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California 95380.

All are welcome to the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5554 North Winton Way, Atwater, California, 95301.

Spencer and his brother Eddie will be interred at Turlock Memorial Park following the Funeral Service.
