It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert John Rebeiro, age 62, of Tracy, California. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Tracy, California, to Theresa and Joseph Rebeiro.
Robert was a devoted family man, and his love for his family was immeasurable. He had a selfless heart, always putting the needs and happiness of his loved ones above his own. Whether it was supporting his daughters, sharing laughter with his wife, or simply spending time with his mother, siblings and loved ones, his family was always his first priority. Robert’s unwavering devotion to his family was the foundation of his life, and he showed his love through countless small acts of kindness, laughter, and warm memories. With a quick wit and a smile that never left his face, Robert had an infectious personality that brightened the lives of everyone around him. His laughter and joy were a constant, and his presence will forever be cherished.
He was deeply involved in his community, coaching football for Tracy Raiders Youth Football, Merrill F. West High and John C. Kimball High Schools in Tracy. His dedication to the youth in his community left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Denise Rebeiro; his daughters, Jessica Vieira and Erica Rebeiro; his beloved granddaughter, Valerie Elizabeth Vieira; his mother, Theresa Rebeiro; his brother, Joseph Rebeiro (Judy) and his sister, Michelle Cotta (Jeff). He is also survived by many cherished family members and friends whose lives he touched and who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph John Rebeiro; his father-in-law, Edward Mifsud; his brother-in-law, Timothy Mifsud; and his niece, Arianna Koster.
A Recitation of the Rosary for Robert will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 4:00 PM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church,163 West Eaton Ave, Tracy, CA 95376.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 West Eaton Ave, Tracy, CA 95376.
Robert will be laid to rest in a private committal at Valpico Memorial Park 12815 West Valpico Road, Tracy, California, 95377.
