Carlos Alberto Oliveira Amaro, age 59, of Turlock, California passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019. He was born December 25, 1959 in Vila Nova, Terceira, Açores to Deolinda da Conceição Oliveira and Manuel Vieira Amaro.
Carlos is survived by: his wife, Ermelinda Maria Oliveira Amaro of Turlock; daughter Andreia Amaro (Fernando Silveira) of Turlock; grandchild Martim Silveira; brothers Manuel Vieira Amaro and José Antonio Amaro of Terceira, Açores; and sister Maria Benilde Amaro Pimentel of Tracy.
Mr. Amaro was preceded in death by his son Bruno Amaro, sister Ana Maria Amaro Coelho, and his parents.
He was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
A visitation for Mr. Carlos Alberto Oliveira Amaro will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. The next day, there will be a recitation of the rosary followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church: 2602 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, California. He will be laid to rest privately.
