Antonio Gerald Azevedo, age 66, of Livingston, California passed away surrounded by his family at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, California on Friday, July 22, 2022. Antonio was born March 9,1956 in Topó, São Jorge, Açores to Maria Rosalia Brasil and Joaquin Azevedo.
Antonio is survived by his spouse of forty six years, Teresa Azevedo; his son Robert Azevedo (Michelle); his mother Maria Rosalia Azevedo all of Livingston; and his brother José Arlindo Azevedo (Laudelina) of Buhach; Antonio also leaves behind his grandsons Christopher Azevedo, Austin Vaz and Mason Azevedo, along with his granddaughter Hailey Azevedo to honor his memory. Antonio is also survived by his nephews Paulo, Frank and Larry Azevedo along with many cousins.
Antonio was preceded in death by his father Joaquin Azevedo.
Antonio was a member of the Livingston Pentecost Club where he served as Director from 1976 to present. Antonio proudly worked security for local Portuguese Festas for 20 years. He was also a member of The Diocesan Shrine of Saint Jude Thaddeus in Livingston, California.
A visitation for Antonio will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass will occur Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at The Diocesan Shrine of Saint Jude Thaddeus, 330 Franci Street, Livingston, CA 95334.
A Committal Service will occur Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Winton Cemetery District, 7651 Almond Avenue, Winton, CA 95388.
