Patricia “Pat” Lazar, 85 passed away November 18, 2024. Her early life and school days were spent in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. She was an accountant by education and training, and worked for several agencies as auditor and accountant, retiring from the State of Washington.
Pat enjoyed nature and the outdoors and was an avid hiker, bird watcher, and cross country skier. For many years, she co-led a “Wednesday Walker” group that explored the many hiking trails and walking paths in the general South Sound area. She had a full life with an abundance of memorable experiences.
Pat was pre-deceased by her parents, Otto and Hazel Hanell and is survived by her sister Ginni Davis, her brother Robert Hanell (Mary Kay), nieces Tiffany Cannava, Tara Curley, Megan Kendall, nephew Casey Hanell, and their families.
An informal celebration of Pat’s life will be held Sunday, December 9, from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Pavilion at Panorama.”
