Wayne Kujawa, 77, of Tucson, AZ, passed January 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 23, 1946. In 1968 he married Carolyn and in 1978 they moved to Tucson, AZ where he was an automobile technician for O'Rielly Chevrolet for 30 years, retiring in 2008.
To merely say Wayne loved shooting would be an understatement. Tucson Rod and Gun Club was where he taught David and Dana how to shoot, to most recently Davis Monthan Air Force Base where he was able to teach his grandsons Kolton and Jack. Memories shared there will last a lifetime.
Although he loved to travel, he went only as far as his car would take him, excluding one of his favorite trips, an Alaskan cruise. There were many memories made traveling across the states over the years. Wayne’s motto was to live while alive; he was a perfectionist in yard maintenance; a collector of all things; felt strongly about politics; devoted Browns and Indians fan; Mr. Fix It; but his greatest gift was being the biggest cheerleader for us all.
No one who met Wayne will ever forget how much he loved his family, telling everyone the many success stories of his kids and grandkids. He was always present to show his support at games and school events, and he knew that they returned that love.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn; children David (Becky) Kujawa and Dana (Shawn) Brisby; grandchildren: Justin (Kiana) Miller, Kolton Kujawa, and Hannah and Jack Brisby.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at East Lawn Cemetery on January 19th. Visitation from 6:30-7:30 with service immediately following.
We were blessed to have him in our lives and will cherish the memories. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.
