Roberta Hernandez

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Roberta Hernandez on March 23, 2021, while surrounded by her family. Ms. Hernandez was 77 years old and born August 5, 1943 in Tucson, Arizona.

Roberta loved Thanksgiving holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would spend hours cooking and preparing for her company.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, George Hernandez and parents, Roberto Valenzuela and Josephine A. Silvas and son, Fernando Godoy. Also, preceded in death one sister, Margaret Flores and two brothers, Peter A. Silvas and Raul O. Silvas and one grandchild, Charles R. Arviso. Surviving sister, Rosalie M. Flores of Tucson and Rudy Silvas of California and four children, Alex Godoy, Art Godoy (Natalie), Linda Godoy and Evelyn Godoy; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The graveside service and interment of ashes will be held, Friday, April 9, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. The services will be held at Monte Calvario Cemetery, 5149 W. Omokol, Tucson, Arizona 85757.
