She was born to Marguerite and Patrick Charles Murphy on February 27, 1953 in Glendale California. After surviving illness resulting in a severe case of pneumonia and bronchitis at a very young age, she was packed in ice for 14 days. She required a tracheotomy but managed to survive and lived a joyful, happy, and love-filled life. She then moved to Phoenix Arizona as a child and then to Kansas City Missouri where her extended family lived while growing up. Later she moved to Tucson Arizona with her father and sister, Joyce Fields, and her family where she spent the last 25 years of her life.
Patti met friends wherever she went and loved to dance, sing, and join family and friends for meals. She loved music, Santa, Christmas, Coca-Cola, monkeys, food of all cuisine except potatoes( with the exception of french fries), hugs, and her family and friends the most.
Patti is preceded in death by her mother and father Marguerite and Patrick Murphy. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Fields; brother-in-law, Jimmy Fields; her niece and nephew-in -law, Heather Fields Playfer and Guy Playfer; her nephew and niece in law, Patrick Sean Fields and Natalie Goodale; her great nephews, Jonathan Playfer, Zachary Playfer, and Noah Playfer ; and her great nieces, Autumn Fields and Noelle Fields;.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022 at 11am at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery in Tucson Arizona. There will be a visitation for those wishing to attend before the memorial service at 10:15am.
She will rest in peace and be buried at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City Missouri at her gravesite beside her loving parents.
