Born August 11, 1933 and passed away peacefully April 12, 2012. Preceded in death by his father, Frank Elias; mother Esther and his sons, Oscar L. Elias and Oscar Elias Jr. Survived by his wife, Carmen Elias and his children, Beverly Elias, Olga (Leo) Elias, Roy (Mercy) Elias, Cynthia (Wade) Valenzuela, Esther (Tony) Soto, Louise (Conrad) Zamora, Lizzie Elias and Debbie; three brothers Frank Elias, Richard (Vicky) Elias, Steve Elias and three sisters, Lucy (Ron) Garrett, Yvonne Johnston and Cecelia Longoria; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met with his charm, kindness and unpredictable sense of humor. We're all going to miss sitting around him and listening to his stories of his golf days, boxing days, his time while in Korea or him just being him... all which will never be forgotten, it will be kept in out hearts forever. He will be greatly missed by many.
