On the morning of January 27th, 2023 Norma A. White of Tucson, Az passed at age 66. Norma was born to Raul and Dora Carrasco in 1956. After attending Flowing Wells High School, she enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Ft. Rucker, AL. After her time on active duty Norma also spent several years serving in the Arizona and Texas Guard as well as the Active Reserves in Arizona. While at Ft. Rucker, Norma met the love of her life, David. They married in February of 1976 and went on to raise two children Andrea and David. In 1996 she obtained a bachelor's degree which she followed up with a master's focused on counseling. Norma worked as a civil servant at Davis Monthan Air Force Base for over 30 years, in a variety of positions in which she supported the continuing education of members of the Air Force. Norma also spent many years teaching at Pima Community College. She was forever the teacher, caregiver, loving spouse, mother, and most importantly Nana. Norma loved spending time with her grandchildren. Norma is preceded in death by her Granddaughter Destanie, Brother Joe, and Father Raul. She is survived by her mother Dora, husband David, her daughter Andrea and three children; Demetrius, Jayme, and Hunter, and by her son, David his wife Brandie, and their two children; Stone and Lucy.
A visitation for Norma will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel University, 7 East University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85705. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
