Myrna Mitchell, 75, of Tucson, AZ, passed away March 28, 2016. She was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 12, 1940. Myrna graduated from Anderson University and received her PhD Doctorate of Education from University of Arizona. She was married to Jim Mitchell on July 2, 1961. Myrna had a career in education as a math professor for the University of Arizona and Pima Community college and later as a tax attorney with H&R Block. She was a member of First Church of God in Tucson, AZ for over 50 years and had a passion for teaching, following Christ, music-playing piano, organ and the harp. She is survived by 3 sons, Steven (Janet), David, Greg (Laura); grandchildren, Daniel, Tim, Serin, Chris, Zachary Savannah, Skyler, Brooke, Kayla (Joel), Kyle; brother, Myron (Jeanie) Williams and brother-in-law, Don (Francis) Mitchell.
