Mary Friend

Maria Cleofas Friend age 89, born February 28, 1922 in Cuquiarachi. Sorora, Mexico. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on June 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe “Pepe” Friend. Parents Liborio and Refugio Silva, brother Jesus L. Silva, sisters Maria S. Morales and Cruz S. Carlos. Survived by her sons Joe (Maria), Frankie (Joey), daughters Grace Sanders (Francisco), Mary F. Salaiz (Robert), Betty F. Dagnino (Gustavo), 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, brothers Manuel, Angel, Belisario and Liborio Silva, also by many nieces and nephews and extended family. She was a very caring, loving and devoted catholic mother. Querida Madrecita te extrañamos mucho, nos has dejado un gran vacio en nuestros corazones. Siempre te recordaremos con mucho amor y cariño. No te decimos adios “Ama” por que sabemos que nos esperas en el cielo con tus brazos abiertos y tu linda sonrisa. Te queremos mucho, tus hijos, nietos y bis-nietos. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A 9:00 am Mass will be held at St. Augustine on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery
