Maria Elena Diaz

Maria Elena was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A hard-working mother and wife, she dedicated over ten years to working at the Census Bureau. Always surrounded by friends and family, she knew how to make others smile with her wit and humor. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for loved ones. She also had an eye for decorating and making things look beautiful. Maria’s honest heart, generosity, and kind spirit were an inspiration to her family and others.

Maria was united in marriage to Armando Diaz for 36 blissful years. Maria is survived by her three daughters and one son; Marisol, Marissa, Alexis and Armando Jr. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Audrina Bella, Isaiah Anthony, and Isla Elena.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 AM at South Lawn Mortuary located at 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
