He is survived by his daughters Melissa B. Rivera (Robert ) and Michelle Burruel (Rene); 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; Significant other, Elsa Nunez and helped raise her 2 granddaughters.
Manuel loved motorcycles, skiing in the White Mountains, and driving in his truck. He enjoyed winning on scratchers tickets and visiting the casino. Manuel was a huge UofA fan. He would wear UofA from his watch to his shoes - Bear Down! Some of his other favorite things were his big tv - to watch the UofA games, of course. He liked power tools and loved McDonalds, no cheese. It's the small details that we cherish and will be most missed about Manuel.
He worked for many years for Honeywell as an inspector. Manuel was funny and headstrong. He had a total of 7 siblings and enjoyed reminiscing and sharing stories about old times. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
A memorial service for Manuel will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. With words of remembrance to being at 8:00pm.
