She was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 27th, 1945 and was the daughter of Henry and Jessie Guerrero. She graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy and was later a receptionist at El Camino Baptist Church for many years while being known as “the voice of El Camino”.
Julie was married to her surviving spouse, Charles Frey I, on January 11th, 1969 for 51 years.
She was a devoted member of El Camino Baptist Church and had a passion for choir, music, fashion, politics, and helping others.
Julie is survived by her spouse, Charles Frey I, children Charles Frey II and Anna Ellingson, grandchildren Christina Grieves, Joshua Taylor, Megan Ellingson, Nathan Ellingson, and Eden Frey, and sisters Jenny Guerrero, Anne Markwell, and Chrisy Fagley. Julie was predeceased by her father and mother Henry and Jessie Guerrero, as well as sister Mercy Hukill.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning, on August 20th, 2020 at El Camino Baptist Church.
