José is reunited in heaven with his mother Elisa Ruiz, father Jose Rojo, and granddaughter Yarel Ruiz.

José is survived by his wife Lupita Ruiz and his children Cisco (Betty)Valenzuela, Flor (Greg) Rodriguez, Jose “Fi” Ruiz, Yarko Ruiz, Misael (Michelle) Ruiz, Sandra (Josh) Cabe, Jovani Ruiz and Daniel Ruiz and his grandchildren Deja, Eli, Marcos, Ángela, Gloria, Izzy, Zoee, Josiah, Taina, Jessica, Rhianna, Adalina, Sophia,Monique, Mael, Camilo and Kai.
