The family of John L. Moffitt announces his passing June 15, 2023 surrounded by his wife and children. Born April 9, 1940, John was a proud career United States Air Force serviceman. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean, and children Jennifer Moffitt, Judy (Dan) Dasse and Jason Moffitt. John enjoyed volunteering at the Pima Air and Space Museum and Gadsden-Pacific Toy Train Museum in Tucson AZ. He was kind to everyone he met and always had interesting stories to share and made you feel special, never judged and always accepted you. Through his travels and commitment with the military, he grew a life-long extended family that was so important to him and his wife. He is also survived by a family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, in-laws and out-laws that absolutely appreciated time with John, and will miss him greatly.
