Imogene gave much of her time to various organizations. She was a Den Mother in Boy Scouts for both of her boys. She was President of the Women’s Club of Flowing Wells and was the neighborhood Avon Lady. She joined the Order of Eastern Star Arizona Chapter #2 with Wendell and they enjoyed many years together serving their local chapter and the Grand Chapter of Arizona. She served in many of the offices and went up the chairs to Worthy Matron (eventually serving the Chapter in this roll for more than one term.) She felt privileged to serve as Grand Worthy Matron for the State of Arizona.
After Wendell passed away in 2018, Imogene moved to Phoenix to be closer to her son. In her final years she suffered from dementia and lived in a memory care residence. She passed peacefully after contracting an infection that she couldn’t fight.
