Henry “Pops” Valdez was born May 2nd, 1956 in Sonora, Mexico. He was a proud legal immigrant and patriot of these United States. He worked for many years as a barber but also became a jack of all trades. He loved classic hot rods, music, western movies and was convinced aliens are real. He was a master welder and an amazing gardener. Those two things combined are who Pops was. He was as strong as the steel he would weld but as gentle as the flowers he grew. He is loved by so many people that we cannot even begin to list them here. He is survived by his cherished wife of 37 years Sandy, son Paul, daughter Monica, and his grandsons, Preston and Zachary. He also leaves behind his parents Fernando and Micaela, brothers Miguel (wife Chris), Chito (wife Dee Dee) and sisters Petra (husband Monchie), Lupe (husband Don), Rosa (husband Paul), Betty (husband Alex), nieces and nephews and too many friends to count. Preceding him in death were his brothers Chuy, Meño and his sister Lety. Pops entered his eternal rest on June 9th at 5:46 p.m. His impact on so many lives will never be forgotten. We love you and we miss you Pops.
