Ethel Stout 100, completed her worldly journey on March 25, 2013 at her home in Tucson. She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, Algenon A. "Toke" Stout and children, Corinne A. Massey and Stanley J. "Jack" Stout. Also preceding Ethel in death were her parents, Lura and Eustace Grubbs and seven of her eight siblings. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Beverly Minton; sister, Bonnie Lou Berry; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel was born January 23, 1913 in Tushka, OK and moved to the Tolleson, AZ area as a newlywed in 1931 with her husband, Toke, and his parents and two brothers. Ethel was a homemaker while her husband was a farmer. Ethel and Toke moved the family to Sahuarita, AZ in 1950 where they continued farming until moving to Tucson in 1955. After her husband passed away in 1956 Ethel went to work as a clerk in the Pima County Recorder's office where she remained for the next 19 years retiring in 1976. Ethel enjoyed her retirement years entertaining family and her many bridge-playing friends, as well as her church activities. Ethel was a long-time active member of Southern Baptist churches in both OK and AZ and was a charter member and officer at El Con Baptist Church in Tucson. During her final illness, Ethel was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Beverly; niece, Anda Kay Grubbs; grandsons, Brad and Mark Minton and friend, Danielle Brown. Services for Ethel will be held at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN on Tuesday, April 2, 2013; Visitation at 10:00 a.m., Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a graveside service.
