Burns, Elizabeth Kate (March 17, 1920 – April 2, 2019). Elizabeth passed away peacefully after 99 years. She is survived by her son-in-law Jack; grandchildren Stephanie, Jennifer, Judi, Joel, Shane, Billy, Chris, Dustin; great-grandchildren Micah, Anna, Deborah, Alina, Vincenzo, Ethan, Gia, Maritza and a brother on the way. Gramma outlived her husband, J.T., all her children, two grandchildren, her parents, siblings and all her cousins. We take great comfort knowing she is reunited with her family.
Elizabeth grew up in Memphis, TN and moved to Tucson, AZ in 1964 for her husband’s health. She went on to work as a banker and make Tucson her home. Gramma was a constant presence in each of our lives, spending time with us and making us feel important and loved. She was an amazing wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
