Our beautiful mother, Donna (Hotwheels) Baeshore, passed away on April 6 at 87 years young. Donna developed polio at 4 years old, but she never let it define her. We told her recently that she had a hard life, and she said “not really”. She raised two girls with no help while our dad was at work. She would put us as babies on a towel and pull us on it as she did the housework. She used hand controls on the car to be able to drive. At 76, she went up in an ultralight and rode on the back of a motorcycle. She survived cancer twice. She was beautiful inside and out. Her strength and independence was an inspiration to others. There is and always will be only one Donna Baeshore. Our friend said “No one forgets women like Donna Baeshore”. She is survived by her two daughters Susan and Cathy, her son-in-law Alan, her granddaughter Carrissa, and her partner, John Wolfram. Thank you to John for treating my mother with the care and kindness she deserved. You are a king of men. Goodbye, Mom. We love you.
