Cheryl Ann Jones was born on October 19, 1956 In Klamath Falls, Oregon and passed away on June 13, 2021 at her home in Tucson, AZ with her family by her side. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Jacqueline Chronister, her nephew Alex and her grandson Bryce. Cheryl was survived by her loving husband of 45 years Randy, her sons Roger(Tina), Brian(Nadine), Jason(Cassie), daughter-in-law(Michele), 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Raised in Tucson, Cheryl was a Sunnyside High School graduate and licensed cosmetologist. She briefly lived in Abilene and Houston Texas before settling back in Tucson. She worked at Los Ranchitos Elementary School for 15 years as a Teachers Aide. Cheryl used her cosmetology license to cut and style family and friend’s hair, and in 1998 she went to work at Sally Beauty Supply. She was able to use her cosmetology knowledge to help people. She loved the people she worked with and connected with the customers who frequented the store.
Cheryl was a devoted mother who volunteered as the Little League Team Scorekeeper, maker of Halloween costumes and baker of all the family birthday cakes. Her greatest passion was family above all else. She loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, husband, and nieces and nephews with all of her heart. She made the lives of everyone lucky enough to know her brighter with her compassion.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading Mary Higgins Clark books, watching horror movies, painting her nails, decorating her southwestern house, and loved to binge the ID Channel.”
The Celebration of Life for Cheryl will be held at:
8260 E Calle Potrero Tucson, AZ 85750 on July 12, 2021 at 5:00pm.
