Daddy, it was one year ago that you spent your last hours on earth. I really tried my best to get back to Arizona before you passed. Unfortunately, I was sitting in the airport when I received the phone call from Susie. I guess I just assumed that I would make it back before you passed. There isn't a day that I don't think of you & mother & miss you both so much!

Happy Birthday, Dad! We celebrated your Birthday and we know you were here with us. We miss you so much and send our love and Birthday wishes to you...I lit candles for you and Mom and also lit some incense for both of you outside in the back yard.  Your Birthday meal is in front of your picture (raw oysters and sushi) with some hot green tea for you to drink...  And Mom has a pink cake for Mother's Day in front of her picture...
