Betty passed on September 3, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona.
Betty was born in Florence, Alabama to Ernest Uselton and Edie Mae Taylor on January 2, 1923. As a young adult she moved to Memphis, Tennessee to pursue a career in singing. Her singing career led to performing on the radio and in clubs in Montana before relocating to Tucson. In Tucson, Betty was a musician with Dean Armstrong and the Arizona Dance Hands, performing on local TV, radio, at car dealerships and Li’l Abner’s Steakhouse.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Abe Graham, husband Jack Swauger, and partner Harry Strack. She is survived by son John Graham (Sue) and stepchildren Yvonne Swauger (Steve Lahn), Carole Burton (Jim) and Karl Swauger and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rest in peace kind soul.
