Betty Perkins, 91, passed into her next life to join her husband of 68 years, Robert Perkins. Betty loved the holidays-born on Valentine Day, 1924 and passing on Thanksgiving Day 2015. Betty said goodbye to her only son, Gary (Susie), four granddaughters – Tasha, Kelly (Jake), Roxanne (Willy), and Cassandra (Chris), as well as 10 great grandchildren. Both Betty and Robert served in W.W.II in the Navy. Betty was born in Indianapolis and it was there that she married Robert on Christmas Eve, 1946. They traveled to Alaska for their honeymoon and ended up staying there for four years. Both learned to fly and earned their pilots license in Alaska. They moved to Tucson in 1956 and called it home for the rest of their lives. Not a kinder, more generous person has ever walked this earth. Betty had such an impact on so many lives and her presence made the world a better place. She will be missed so much and will always be remembered.
