Betty Ann Hess

Remembering Betty Ann Hess, age 76, of Tucson, Arizona passed away and flew with the angels on Friday March 15, 2019. Betty was born November 10, 1942 in Neon Kentucky. One of three daughters, Mae and Colleen, born to their mother, Betsy Stambaugh and their father, Kentucky coal miner, Jay Blankenship. Survived by Betty's daughters Kim with wife Karin and Debbie with husband Rob and Betty's ex husband Wayne Hess. Betty moved to Tucson from Kentucky and graduated from Tucson High in 1960. She started working for the phone company Mt. Bell in 1961 and having 28 plus years retired there in 1990. She then went on to work for Pima Community College Small Business until retiring from there in 2004. Betty was an incredibly loving mother/grandmother/person/friend to all who knew her.

A memorial service for Betty will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. Reception to follow.
